Summary

God is love (1 John 4:8). Therefore, God hates the evil He will one day soon destroy. Love will ultimately overcome evil! In this sense, the wrath of God is a comfort to those who seek after righteousness because He will put an end to sin. God loves us enough to destroy the evil that would destroy us. And those who overcome, having put their faith in Jesus Christ, will one day sing The Song of Moses and the Lamb – a victory song unto our God! In Revelation we read: “And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, ‘Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints'” (Revelation 15:2-3).
