The Kings from the East and the Battle of Armageddon

Summary

In the book of Revelation, the Apostle John describes a vision that reveals events to take place shortly before the return of Jesus Christ. John saw the sixth angel pour out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east. That is, Jesus and God the Father at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ (Revelation 16: 12; Luke 9:26). Coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs performing signs to assemble the kings of the whole world for the battle of Armageddon on the great day of God the Almighty (Revelation 16:13-14, 16). Jesus declares, “Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on…” (Revelation 16:15).
